Do you have to book Birdland?

Posted on March 29, 2021 by the Birdland Team. We are happy to announce that Birdland will reopen its gates to visitors from Monday 12th April in line with government guidance. All visitors (except annual pass holders) will have to pre-book online prior to arrival and there will be a cap on daily attendance.

What animals are at Birdland?

Flamingos, pelicans, penguins, cranes, storks, cassowary, and waterfowl can be seen on various aspects of the natural water habitat. There are also over 50 aviaries featuring parrots, falcons, pheasants, hornbills, touracos, pigeons, ibis and many more.

Can I bring my dog to Birdland?

Dogs are welcome at Birdland Park & Gardens but we do ask that you keep them on a lead at all times. Water bowls can be found in the park by the café. Birdland is set in a flat picturesque garden which is all accessible via wheelchairs and pushchairs.

At Birdland’s indoor Discovery Zone, visitors can learn more about other egg-laying creatures such as invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. Meet recently born chicks at the new Hatchery, currently housing eggs from ducks, quails and chickens.
