Originally a Heroes of Newerth player, the young Swede won Dreamhon 2012 at just 14 years old. Zai transitioned to Dota 2 in 2013 and then was quickly recruited by Evil Geniuses. By 16 years old he placed 3rd at TI3 with EG, and repeated the achievement two years later.
Why did Zai leave EG?
On 6th January 2015 it was announced that zai had left EG to join Team Secret and he’d be switching back to the offlane role. After Team Secret’s 7th-8th finish at The International 5, zai left the team to complete his high school education.
