South Haven Lighthouse is a prime and can’t be missed attraction on a visit to South Haven. I was there on a nice weekday afternoon at the end of July and the place was busy with visitors. I was lucky to find free street parking in downtown, and then walked to the lighthouse (less than a mile) mostly downhill.
