Can veterans use Jbsa Canyon Lake?

To be able to access the Canyon Lake park with the Veterans health identification card (VHIC), it has to state under the picture: Service connected, Medal of honor, Purple Heart or Former POW. Then you will have to go to one of the JBSA Base visitor centers to be vetted.
