What is the message behind Brother Bear?
The moral of the movie is that love is not weak. It shows even though people think love isn’t considered “manly,” in the end that is what makes someone a person or a “man.” It shows that love makes you strong through the relationships that you make.
Why did Nita become bear?
Suddenly, the three see the spirits, and Koda, whom Nita can understand, tells them that he asked the spirits to turn Kenai back into a human so he could be with Nita. Kenai says he can’t leave Koda behind, so Nita becomes a bear instead.

Is Brother Bear underrated?
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Brother Bear as much as I did. It is by far one of the better post-Tarzan Disney movies, along with Emperor’s New Groove and Lilo and Stitch. I do think it is very underrated, apart from a couple of minor flaws there is hardly anything wrong with it.
