iRacing has four Seasons each year. Each season consists out of 12 weeks with serious racing. When we say serious, we mean the type of racing that matter when it comes to your iRating and division. Week 13 isn’t listed on these schedules, but rest assured you can count on it four times a year!
How do iRacing weeks work?
Each week, every iRacing public series takes on a new track, with drivers looking to score the most points possible in public races across various series in order to earn a championship. When the clock strikes midnight on Tuesday, the track changes to the next one on the schedule for each series.

How do you go pro in iRacing?
As a rookie, you’ll need to participate in 2 races or 4 time trials, and have a safety rating of over 3.0 in order to be promoted to Class D. From there, you can work your way to class C, B, A, and if you can make the cut, the Pro license level.

How do I fast track my license in iRacing?
If you don’t feel like waiting for the season to end, you can “Fast Track” to the next license level by raising your Safety Rating to 4.0, or 3.0 as an iRacing Rookie. This will automatically promote you without having to wait for the end of the season, provided you have completed your MPR.
Can you get demoted in iRacing?
Drivers with a Safety Rating below 2.00 will be demoted at the end of the season, and drivers below 1.00 will be demoted immediately. Drivers that are between a 2.00 and 3.00 Safety Rating will not have their license affected at the end of the season.
Can you make money in iRacing?
There is a lot of money to be won, as there have been many competitions in recent years with prize pools in the several hundreds of thousands of dollars. For example, in 2019 the iRacing prize pool for the year was $300,000.
