Gunter Schwanhäusser helped change human reading behaviour when he launched his brand of fluorescent pen in the 1970s. He did not invent the highlighter — that was the work of Japanese inventor Yukio Horie in 1962 — but he saw its huge potential when he founded the Stabilo Boss.

Are Stabilo markers good?
They are very bright, true to the color that is seen on their caps. I really like the pencil-esque design, it makes them comfortable to hold (which is important to me because I use them for taking lecture notes in school). The have a nice fine tip, the pens are also very thin (which I like).
