Why is it called Zestiria?
The story focuses on the theme of the casts’ passion in pursuing their beliefs, in contrast to other entries in the series where the theme was justice or faith: the title “Zestiria” refers to the “zest” of the main characters. It also focused on the series theme of coexistence between different peoples and races.
Does sorey like Mikleo?
There is nothing explicit in canon that says Sorey and Mikleo have feelings for each other or are in a relationship. At the very BEST, you could leave it up to interpretation, but that’s at the very best.

Will Tales of Zestiria have a Season 3?
The studio seems to be too busy currently to produce season 3 of Tales of Zestiria the X. Hence, the studio might release the third season in 2023 or early 2024 once it has more time on its hands.
Are all tales of games connected?
No. Usually tales of games are completely self contained. This means characters, the world, even universe (even if not expanded to that scale usually) is different in each game. Each game has very different kinds of worlds and how their society works etc.
Is Tales of Berseria related to Zestiria?
Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria are so intertwined. If you go through one, you can’t skip the other. You have to play through and experience both. It’s only then that you can appreciate the actions taken by the characters and lore developed between the two games.

Sorey comes back and is heavily implied to have been reborn as a seraphim, which means that he would lose all memories of his past life—his childhood, his bond with his friends (and Mikleo), and the trials and tribulations he faced as a Shepherd—and becomes a different person.

Nope. Though TVtropes and a few other parties exaggerate every little clue they perceive about Sorey and Mikleo. Nope, no canon romance anywhere with the main cast.

During the Revanchist War, Sorey was deeply affected when Mikleo was killed in the Revanchist War. Alisha Diphda – A character from Tales of Zestiria who debuted in Ragnarok. Alisha accompanied Sorey and Mikleo during her brief encounter with the Shepherd early into his journey.
