Go to Settings>Accessibility>Display & Text Size>Auto-Brightness and turn that off. I’ve just turned off ‘low power mode’ on the battery settings and it now stops dimming . Auto-Lock has nothing to do with auto dimming the screen. Go to Settings>Accessibility>Display & Text Size>Auto-Brightness and turn that off.
