$750 per year
Although membership to the club costs $750 per year (plus a $1,500 initiation fee) there are a couple ways of getting in as a guest. Magic enthusiasts can book a night at the Magic Castle Hotel next door for up to eight guest passes. (Each guest pass will cost about $75 per night after a cover and required dinner.)

The AMA was incorporated in 1961 and The Castle opened its doors on January 2, 1963. Since then it has become known as “The Mecca for Magicians” throughout the world. Its membership has grown to about 5,000 active magicians and non-magician members.

We’re open nearly every night of the year except for major holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day). Our minimum age for entrance is 21-years, and we strictly enforce a formal dress code (except for buyouts).
