Just because they are dressed up in a costume doesn’t give you the right to take their photos without permission. Be polite, respectful and patient! Remember, you’re not the only person who’ll stop them to ask for photos and, since they are fans too, they may be trying to get somewhere.

Autographs of merchandise you bring or buy in the dealer’s room are completely free. Some guests may also sell special autographed pictures, DVDs, CDs, comics, or more. Time may be limited, so please be early and ready with anything you want to have signed, though you may be limited to 1 or 2 items.
Can I cosplay anime at Comic-Con?
Absolutely, in fact the majority of attendees don’t do cosplay for the event. And if this is your first time, it may be for the best if you opt for comfort over creativity. If you have a relevant t-shirt, Comic-Con is a great place to wear it.
