Fucithalmic® eye drops contain an antibiotic (called “fusidic acid”). This antibiotic is used to treat infections on the surface of the eye. Examples of such infections are: Inflammation of the white of the eye, caused by bacteria (called “conjunctivitis” or “red eye”).

Your eye should start to feel better within a few days. Even when your eye appears normal again, there may still be some germs (bacteria) present. It is important to continue to use the drops for a further two days once your eye appears normal.

The usual dose is one drop twice each day, in the morning and in the evening. Taking all the course of Fucithalmic® It is very important to use all the medicine that your doctor has told you to use. You must use your medicine for at least 48 hours after you feel better and your eye looks normal.
