What is ASCAP? You can earn royalties anytime your music is played on the radio. Founded in 1914, ASCAP is the United States’ first PRO. ASCAP collects performance royalties for songwriters and publishers, and divides royalty payouts for any composition 50/50 to the songwriter and publisher.
