What does the Royal Marines charity do?
We exist to support sailors, marines and their families, for life. Beneficiaries lie at the heart of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity’s purpose, it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, we have funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today.
Who funds the Royal Marines?
We generate income from a number of sources. Our voluntary income is raised through the donations we receive from fundraisers and high-net-worth individuals, from the Royal Navy’s Payroll Giving scheme, the Royal Marines’ Corps Subscriptions and from other activities and events.
Can you donate to the Royal Navy?
Make a donation. We are always grateful for any support and donations we receive to help us continue the work we do to support naval personnel, their families, other naval charities and organisations, as well as our own members.

The Royal Marines Charity celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2021, marking the foundation of one of its predecessor organisations, the Royal Marines Association (RMA), in 1946.

The Marines’ Memorial Association depends on donations to fulfill our mission to COMMEMORATE, EDUCATE and SERVE. Donations can be made by anyone, including members, non-members, businesses, organizations and foundations, and can be made IN HONOR or IN MEMORY of a loved one.

The RNA is the largest of the Naval Associations, formed under Royal Charter in 1954 and traces its history back before the Second World War in Old Comrades Associations. The Association is primarily branch-based with 300 branches in the UK and overseas.
