Is the UCSB Rec Center free for students?

Child/teen of current, full time UCSB student, age 17 and under are free for access during the permitted times of the academic year. Child/teen of Rec Cen Members (Annual & 3 Month Membership Only) are permitted within the facility during the same given hours as children/teens of UCSB students.

Is UCSB gym free?

Use of the Recreation Center is granted on a quarterly basis to fee paying UCSB students. Others may purchase memberships at the Recreation Department Customer Service Center located at the Recreation Center.

Does UCSB have a sauna?

Private Steam Rooms are located inside the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms. The Dry Sauna is co-ed and is located on the main level. Many members enjoy this amenity to quickly warm up their muscles just before a workout.

Does UCSB have pickleball courts?

Fall hours are Monday-Sunday 8:30am and 5:00pm. Click here to reserve court space up to 7 days in advance. The Municipal Tennis Facility site offers 9 tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, hitting walls, free parking and a playground. The site of the complex was acquired in parcels from 1909-1913.
