Is it worth going to Polynesian Cultural Center?
Polynesian Cultural Center has, by far, the best Polynesian entertainment in Hawaii. It is well worth spending the entire day, but only if you also stay for the evening show. The evening show, Ha: Breath of life is what makes PCC much better than any other luau venue.

You can’t go to Hawaii without going to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We have been to Hawaii twice and both time have gone to the PCC. We are taking our kids to Hawaii in the new year. This is one attraction we will make sure to take them to.
Is Polynesian Cultural Center a tourist trap?
This is a tourist trap created by the Mormon church so their BYU students can work. FIRST of all they own the town and NO alcohol is served in the Center and anywhere in the town. Skip the expensive Luau and go to another one that at least includes liquor.

We recommend you dress comfortably and wear very comfortable shoes. Remember that the sun can be harsh, so you may want to grab a hat or umbrella even on the sunniest of days. And don’t forget water! Don’t worry if you forget any of these items, you can pick them up at our Hukilau Marketplace.

Is a luau worth the money?
In my opinion, I think going to a luau is definitely worth planning into your Hawaii vacation. For around $90, you get to sample Polynesian food and watch a colorful Polynesian dance show. Luaus feature traditional Polynesian and Hawaiian food that you might not find on a resort menu.
Is Ha Breath of Life show worth it?
Very nice show, framed through a man’s life from Childhood to Adulthood. Touches on many of the different cultures that are part of the Polynesian cultural center. The Fire Knife dancing appears to be the highlight and is well worth it.
