What do you do when your Shark vacuum stops working?

- Empty the dust cup.
- Check if there’s any blockage in the filter, hose, or brush roll. Remove the clog.
- Allow your vacuum to cool down for an hour.
- Switch the vacuum on again and see if it starts working.

If you have purchased directly from Shark Clean UK, your warranty is automatically registered for you. You will still benefit from a 12-month initial warranty without registration. Failure to register a product from a retailer will lead to a warranty claim outside of the 12-month initial warranty being rejected.

Why did my Shark vacuum stop running?
This happens because the vacuum has a motor protective thermostat. If the vacuum turns off due to overheating, the thermostat has to be reset before you can use it again. Follow the instructions to restart the motor protective thermostat. Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
