How long does Kessil last?

Our lights have a normal life expectancy of 35,000 hours, about 5-7 years for most customers. There are many factors that can reduce the life expectancy of the light such as the environment (humidity, moisture, salt creep, and temperature) as well as the maintenance of the light.

Can Kessil A360X grow SPS?

Yes, the Kessil A360X is capable of growing SPS corals when properly mounted and spaced over your tank.

How many Kessil A360 do I need?

A minimum of 6 unless you plan to supplement with at least 4 T5s. The best an A360 (or any 90w LED) can cover is 18*18*18. With 30″ tall, you’ll also need the narrow reflectors to reach the bottom. This will reduce the coverage even more.

How do you clean a Kessil A360X?

To clean the fan, unplug the unit and insert the tip of a CO2 dust blower (or similar dust blower) in one of the Venting Holes (H) on the unit’s outer shell. Hold and spray. You can also gently vacuum out the light through the venting holes.

Are Kessil lights worth it?

I love Kessil Lights for all the reasons that make them great and still to this day very happy with my choice. Yes, high end LEDs are worth the money if the extra features and performance is worth the money to you. I may or may not have just pulled the trigger on an AP700.
