About this mod. A mod to make the Gildergreen in Whiterun grow from the sapling back into a full tree over time. Takes approximately 6 months in-game time to grow from a sapling into a full adult.
How do I restore Gildergreen?
The tree was struck by lightning and badly burnt. Danica Pure-Spring, a priestess of Kynareth, asks the Dragonborn to retrieve sap from the Eldergleam Tree in order to restore the Gildergreen, which drew donations from pilgrims. After retrieving sap (or using the sapling from Maurice Jondrelle), the tree is restored.
How do I restore the tree in Whiterun?
Take the sap back to Danica. Travel back to Whiterun and talk to Danica Pure-Spring for the last time. Give her the Eldergleam Sap, and she will use it to revive the Gildergreen tree at the Kynareth temple. You’ll be able to upgrade your Restoration skill by training with Danica now.
