Are glasses clip-ons worth it?
Clip-on sunglasses provide a simple, inexpensive alternative for sun protection. Switching back and forth from regular prescription glasses to a separate pair of prescription sunglasses can be inconvenient and puts wear and tear on both pairs of glasses. Clip-ons come with their own small, thin carrying case.
Why is Zenni so cheap?
There are various reasons why Zenni Optical is able to keep the cost of its eyeglasses low. Zenni glasses are made at a dedicated factory and shipped directly to the consumer. Also, because Zenni sells its glasses online, they don’t pay for brick-and-mortar retail space.
Are Zenni glasses made in China?
Our factory is in China. About 89 percent of the glasses sold in the United States are made in China. We are right in the center of excellence for glass manufacturing.
Does Zenni take insurance?
We do not accept insurance. However, some insurance companies will accept an invoice copy for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company, and if they do, you can request an emailed invoice copy from our Customer Service department.
How do you pick a clip-on sunglasses?
Make sure that the clip-on size you select is at least as large as your lens measurement. If your lens measurement is not listed in the size options, select the next largest size clip-ons. For example: if your lens measures 47mm, the best option would be a size 48.
Can you wear sunglasses over glasses?
Believe it or not, there are people who put can be found wearing sunglasses directly over prescription glasses. It’s not ideal by any stretch of the imagination and is, in fact, more uncomfortable than wearing clip-on polarized sunshades. The sunglasses are likely to scratch the eyeglasses underneath.
Are clip on sunglasses worth it?
Yes, clip-ons work just as well as “real” sunglasses, as long as they fit properly — i.e., they have the same or similar size and shape as your regular glasses — and provide UV protection for your eyes — preferably the maximum UV 400.
