There are three official methods for getting to the starting line for the NYC Marathon:

  1. Staten Island Ferry – Departs from Whitehall Terminal in Manhattan.
  2. Midtown Manhattan Bus – Departs from NY Public Library on 5th and 42nd Street.
  3. Anchor New Jersey Bus – Departs from Lot K at MetLife Stadium.
