How do you book a room on a military base?

Can civilians stay in Air Force Inns?

We welcome Active Duty, retirees, NAF or DoD civilian employees, and sponsored guests. In-room amenities include: Internet Access.

Can civilians use army hotels?

Do I have to be in the Military to stay at IHG Army Hotels? No. We welcome all military personnel, contractors, families and even pets to enjoy the comfort and convenience of all our on-post hotels.

Can guests stay in barracks?

You can explore the base with your service member and in most cases, you can visit their rooms. While visitors cannot stay the night in the barracks, there are accommodations on base, if you choose, for visiting family members and friends, and your service member can stay the night with you.

Can a civilian go on a military base?

TLDR – Civilians can get on military bases if they are a spouse or dependent of a service member or sponsored by a service member. However, the policies vary from base to base. Many bases also have visitor centers that are open to the public or require a special visitor pass.

Can girlfriend sleep in barracks?

Girls are allowed to visit men in the barracks, but you cannot spend the night. You must sign in with the duty at the front desk. The door to the barracks room is supposed to be propped open during the visit. Rules may vary for different units, but usually you must sign out by 10 PM.

Can you stay on base with your boyfriend?

The short answer is YES! Most people can visit a military base with no issue. However, it’s not like visiting grandma where you can just pull up and walk in. You must bring all required documents and be willing to submit to a background check.
