The Wolf Cult recruited humans willing to become worgen. The curse rapidly spread among the human population, transforming ordinary men and women into ravenous, feral creatures immune to undeath. Arugal also used his magic to curse the village people of Pyrewood to turn into worgen whenever the sun went down.

Do worgen make good hunters?
Worgen just doesn’t have good racials for Hunter. Worgen! Definitely for Survival. The extra Sprint is awesome, the melee animations are fantastic, and you look ferocious!
Why are there no worgen monks?
Blizzard said the reason why Worgen and Goblins can’t be monks is because they weren’t around in their starting zones during the Cataclysm. Now that we can start wherever we like, it’s time for Blizzard to add monks to both races.

Goblin and Worgen are the only Core Races that can’t be Monk, in terms of Worgen model design and Lore i understand they can’t be Monks, but Goblin why can’t be a Monk? Because that will need Blizzard to spend actual money to add a monk trainer in their respective starting zones while make sense in the story.
