Yes, but we recommend you use a low-profile 700 x 38c tire when riding on the trainer – 29-inch mountain bike tires are higher profile and may drag on the flooring when in the older Kinetic trainer frames.

Using the inRide pod and a magnet in the resistance unit roller, we take speed at the wheel and translate that into power using our formula. The end result is an accurate estimation (+/- 3%) using some very simple and inexpensive hardware.

- Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate your trainer.
How do you turn on a kinetic bike trainer?
Select Power Source, Controllable and Cadence and select the Kinetic device for each. Be sure Kinetic Smart Control trainer is plugged in and not paired with any other apps, or if using a Smart trainer or inRide sensor, turn the wheel to wake up the sensor. Paired devices will show blue.
