Gotcha makes some weightes plugs that can be used for trolling. They’re “OK” in my opinion, but don’t seem to have the same action that their standard plugs have. There’s no substitute for that side to side jerking action that you can get with a Gotcha plug used correctly with a casting rod set-up, IMO.
