Can you go into Bluestone for the day?
What time can I arrive on resort? You can arrive from 11:00 am onwards on the day of your arrival and use all of the facilities that Bluestone has to offer. Our arrivals lodge is open 24 hours a day, so don’t worry if you can’t arrive until the evening.
Is there a bluestone app?
The new App is easy to download from the iOS App and Google Play stores and provides guests with spoken directions to all attractions. It will make it easier for Bluestone to communicate guest information, pre-arrival instructions and essential safety notifications.

Bluestone is the term used to refer to the smaller stones at Stonehenge. These are of varied geology but all came from the Preseli Hills in south-west Wales. Although they may not appear blue, they do have a bluish tinge when freshly broken or when wet. They weigh between 2 and 5 tons each.

Is bluestone harder than granite?
Bluestone is a very strong stone with a hardness of six on the Mohs scale. This is harder than marble at five and softer than granite at seven, so it will not scratch or chip easily like some other stones might. It also has a very high compressive strength, so it won’t crack under pressure.
