What is the difference between Edelbrock Performer and Performer RPM heads?

The Performer is designed for optimum performance in a lower rpm range than the Performer RPM. The RPM will deliver absolutely more horsepower but it will do so at high rpm’s. If you are preparing a race car for open track and expect to be operating at WOT a lot then the RPM is for you.
