What are cake drums made of?

Cake drums are made out of thick, corrucated cardboard or styrofoam. Cake drums are suaully 6mm-10mm thick, but can also be thicker than that. Cake drums are are perfect for decorative cake boards but are usually more expencive than masonite cake boards, so they are not used as often as MDF boards are.
