Zipp and Enve are two of the most respected and well-known brands in the carbon wheel world for good reason. We’ve represented both for a long-time – Zipp since our inception in ’01 and Enve since not long after their inception, back when they were called Edge Composites.
Are Enve road wheels worth it?
You will get better performance out of Enve rims than most other rims on the market (I personally think Derby’s rims perform better). But you will not get a dollar for dollar improvement over any other rim. But that is true of EVERY high end product.

Why are Enve rims so expensive?
In the video Enve claims that they produce a new mold 10 times more often than the rest, meaning maybe something like 100 rims before that mold is destroyed and a new one made, whereas the competition will produce 1000 rims with the same mold and this is a major reason for the expense.
