Ramuh is a new primal that was added in patch 2.3. The fight this page refers to is the Hard Mode version of the fight that takes place within the main scenario. Like with Leviathan Hard Mode it is not intended to be a difficult fight and you should have no problems beating it first or second try.
How do you beat Ramuh hard?
Many of Ramuh’s attacks are honing, so your best bet is to strafe perpendicular to it – either directly right or left. Levin Arrows leaves an electrical minefield behind that will spell certain doom if you run into one – they paralyze Yuffie and deal damage! Remember to press in on the right stick to target Ramuh.
How do you break Ramuh tether?
One of the tethered players must eat 3 Lightning Orbs to get the Surge Protection buff and cancel the tether, allowing both players to continue. Make sure to switch DPS to the Arbiters so that Ramuh isn’t pushed to cast Judgment Bolt too soon. Leave at least 3 Lightning Orbs so players can dispell Rolling Thunder.
