The unit runs 24/7, and there is a slight humming noise to it, like a vent…. but you get used to it and it is not intrusive. Within 2 days the streaming windows had improved and within 4 days no more streaming windows, all cleared up…even on a super cold morning, no streaming windows. The air is not stagnant anymore.
