Will USPS pack my item?
Can I go to my local post office and get my parcel packed and wrapped, or do i have to do it myself? The Postal Service will not pack or wrap items for their customers. Do I have to put a return address? No, but it’s to your advantage if you do, particularly if for some reason the package cannot be delivered.
Are boxes free at USPS?
They’re always free, no matter if you get them at your local Post Office or on USPS.com. This includes Priority Mail Flat Rate and Priority Mail Express boxes and envelopes, as well. The only thing you’ll need to pay for is the cost of postage.
