Doomwalker is now confirmed to return in the 17th anniversary event, running from November 15th to December 6th. The boss can be defeated daily for loot, just like the Dragons of Nightmare and Kazzak, for the entirety of the event, and just like them, will be available every year for each anniversary.

Comment by Invis. Outdoor 25 man Raid boss, Shadowmoon Valley. If he kills you, you get a mark on you for 15 minutes. Just like the outdoor Dragons in Azeroth, you cannot enter back in combat with him until the mark has worn off.

Doomwalker will probably be added to the roster of World Bosses available every day, together with Dragons of Nightmare and Kazzak, so if you don’t get it this year, you can get next year.

What can Doomwalker drop?
Despite what was said in the original blue post, any character level 30 or higher can loot the mount, toy, or transmog pieces from Doomwalker, including the new Akama’s Edge axes. The only difference is that they will drop at an appropriate item level for your level instead of ilvl 226.
