Is Attitash a hard mountain to ski?
The ski resort itself was fine, but i cant recommend it for novice skiers. I finally got down the mountain, but it was tough and nerve racking. I am sure that Attitash is fine for a skilled skier but NOT for the beginner and what they advertise as “Novice Trails” are far from anything that I would consider beginner.
What mountain is better Attitash or wildcat?
Wildcat has more of an old school ski mountain feel and shorter lift lines, Attitash/Bear Peak has a more new school feel, with a bit longer lines, but more trails to choose from. Both mountains offer pretty awesome vertical terrain.

Attitash has a low base elevation 600 feet; more likely to get rain than some nearby ski areas with higher base elevation on borderline snow/rain events. This ski area gets extremely crowded on weekends; its best to avoid on a saturday. On the positive side, it does have overpriced slope-side lodging available.
