Stratholme has two entrances, one leading into the Living Side and one leading into the Undead side. To open the Undead Side, someone in your party needs a Key to the City, which drops from Magistrate Barthilas. You can access the Undead side from the Living Side but it requires some trash clearing.

How do you get to Lord Aurius Rivendare?
To get to Rivendare you first have to unlock the gate to Slaughter Square. On the map you should see a triangle of bosses around The Gauntlet designated by skulls. Each boss is guarding a tomb which will open once you kill it, and each tomb holds an Ash’ari Crystal.
Where is the scholomance entrance?
You can find the instance entrance by going in the main keep entrance (on the Scholomance island in Western Plaguelands) and going thru the closed door to the left.
