Does the Orvis encounter come with a warranty?
The Encounter Fly Rod does not have a 25 year warranty. This is the only rod/reel combination that does not come with this warranty. Orvis will however repair/replace the outfit for a nominal charge. If you have any questions about warranty feel free to contact us at 937-434-8472.
Can you buy replacement pieces for fly rods?
