Is First Class worth it XPT?

This time I decided to book in First Class and it is well worth the extra money. You get heaps of extra leg room and heaps of extra seat recline. The only downside is that pillows and a blanket aren’t supplied. It would be good if these were supplied at a charge of say $20 extra per person per trip.

Does XPT have sleepers?

Took the XPT overnight from Sydney to Melbourne, first class with sleeper, with my partner. Cabin was excellent – quite roomy, beds were a little narrow. Rocking motion sends you to sleep in no time! Bathroom and shower shared with adjacent cabin – tiny (as you’d expect) but perfectly adequate.
