What is Clflush?
What is Clflush?
The CLFLUSH instruction can be used at all privilege levels and is subject to all permission checking and faults associated with a byte load (and in addition, a CLFLUSH instruction is allowed to flush a linear address in an execute-only segment).
How does CLFLUSH work?
We measure the latency it takes for CLFLUSH to flush the whole array. The size of the array in the program is an input and we vary the input from 1MB to 40MB with a step of 2MB. In our understanding, the CLFLUSH should flush the content in the cache.

What is GPU cache?
The GPU cache is where Quicken stores splash screen notices like upcoming server maintenance notices you see occasionally and other notices. The folder generation dates back at least a year.
What is cached RAM?
Memory caching (often simply referred to as caching) is a technique in which computer applications temporarily store data in a computer’s main memory (i.e., random access memory, or RAM) to enable fast retrievals of that data. The RAM that is used for the temporary storage is known as the cache.
How do I know what bit my processor is?
Look for the System Type option under the Item column on the right side of System Information. In the Value column, the associated value tells you which type of CPU the computer has in it. If the System Type value includes “x86” in it, the CPU is 32-bit. If the System Type value includes “x64” in it, the CPU is 64-bit.
Is GPU cache important?
Processing elements such as CPUs and GPUs depend on cache technology to bridge the classic processor memory subsystem performance gap. As GPUs evolve into general purpose co-processors with CPUs sharing the load, good cache design and use becomes increasingly important.
Is it safe to delete GPUCache?
If you have finished working on that file, it will be safe to delete GPUCache folder.
