How long does it take to cycle to the top of bike Park in Wales?

At 4.6 km it’s also possible to cycle a singletrack trail all the way to the top yourself and this will take between 20 and 40 minutes depending on fitness. For those choosing to use the uplift service we highly recommend booking an uplift ticket in advance as more often than not tickets are sold out well in advance.

What bike do you need for BikePark Wales?
Downhill bikes are ideal for riders looking to attempt some of our gnarlier and rougher trails (red and black grades). Don’t forget you’ll need a full face helmet to hire one of our Downhill bikes. E-bikes bring a new way to enjoy the park and we now have a fleet of Trek Rail 7 e-bikes available to rent.
Can I charge my bike at BikePark Wales?
BikePark Wales have become the first and – as far we know – only bike park or trail centre to start charging more for e-bikes. It will now cost £15.00 for a day pass for folk wishing to ride their electric mountain bike at BikePark Wales.
Can you do BikePark Wales without uplift?
Children 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by a guardian at all times in the bike park. With the absence of our PAYG uplift service we’re aware that it’s difficult for families with young children to use our uplift service.
Do you have to wear a full face at BikePark Wales?
You must ALWAYS wear a helmet. We also strongly advise you wear a full face helmet, eye protection, gloves and body armour. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HELMET YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE IN THE PARK OR USE THE UPLIFT SERVICE. Read and adhere to all advice signs while using the trails.
Do you have to wear a full face helmet at BikePark Wales?
Helmets are mandatory, ensure that your helmet is in good shape and properly adjusted; we highly recommend the use of full face protection helmets. Gloves, eye protection and body armour are also highly recommended. Inspect bike frame and forks for cracks, damaged or dented areas.
