How does Aetna HealthFund work?
An Aetna HealthFund® Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)* gives you access to quality care. And it helps you stretch your health care dollars. Our HRA combines an Aetna health insurance or benefits plan with a fund paid for by your employer. This fund helps you pay eligible out-of-pocket health care costs.
Does Aetna use availity?
Availity supports Aetna® appeals and reconsiderations for commercial and Medicare claims. Just click on the “Dispute Claim” button (this appears for all finalized claims in the claim status dashboard).
Is Aetna HealthFund an HSA?
With an integrated Aetna HealthFund HSA, you get the protection of an Aetna HSA- compatible High Deductible Health Benefits and Insurance Plan (HDHP); PLUS you get a tax-advantaged health savings account that you can use to help pay for qualified expenses.
