both are good large formats but The movie will not have expanded aspect ratio in xplus, only in imax. if you see it in xplus you will get amazing sound but an image that is 2.35:1. If you see it in imax you will get a taller image at a 1.90:1 aspect ratio so you will be seeing more on the top and bottom of the screen.
